“Who the hell is Ross Nova?”

I’m Ross Nova - a Christian Republican, a Badass Bulgarian, and a proud American patriot.
 

I was born in Bulgaria and left in an orphanage at birth. Life there was tough, and from an early age I learned how to stand on my own two feet.

When I was eight years old, I was adopted and brought to the United States, landing in the middle of North Dakota in the dead of winter. That’s where my American story truly began.
 

At 18, not knowing how I would pay for college or what direction my life would take, I raised my right hand and joined the United States Army. I later served in an elite Pathfinder unit and deployed overseas, where I learned and lived the Army values every day, loyalty, duty, respect, selfless service, integrity, and personal courage. Those values shaped the man I became, teaching me discipline, responsibility, and the pride that comes from serving something greater than yourself and helping others whenever you can.
 

After my service, I became a United States citizen, took the oath of allegiance to the Constitution, and proudly pledged my loyalty to the country that gave me a second chance at life, a moment for which I will remain truly blessed and forever grateful until my very last breath.
 

Since then, I’ve lived the same life many Minnesotans live. I’ve worked in restaurants, helped open businesses, and driven trucks across Minnesota, meeting hardworking people in towns and communities across this great state. What I’ve learned is simple: the people of Minnesota have far more in common than the politicians want us to believe.
 

Most people want the same things - safe communities, honest government, the opportunity to work, and a better future for their families.

But somewhere along the way, politics stopped building bridges and started building walls between people. I’m running for Governor because I believe Minnesota deserves leadership that builds bridges instead of divisions.

Not red versus blue, not group versus group. Minnesotans.

I want to be a bridge builder between parties, bringing people together and reminding us that we are stronger when we stand side by side instead of on opposite sides. Let us become the engineers together, building a strong and lasting bridge between our communities, our ideas, and our future.
